The Non-Negotiables
The customer agrees to pay 50% of the quoted price at time of order before any construction begins. This is a non-refundable deposit for the order placed. Once the quilt is complete, the customer will be notified of such and the final payment will be due + shipping expenses (unless the customer lives locally). Payment must be received within 30 days of notification of the completed quilt, or the quilt will become the property of Kootenay Custom Quilting.
Once final payment has been received by Kootenay Custom Quilting and the funds have cleared the banks, the quilt will be sent out to the customer.
Throughout the entire process of constructing the quilt, photos can be sent to the customer by request. Please let me know at the Contract Signing, so that I can start taking photos right away.

Above listed prices include all materials required to make the quilt. If you are particular on a certain color, then please send along some paint swatches from your local hardware store with the colour scheme you are looking for, as computer screens can be unreliable.
I welcome any sentimental clothing that you would like used in making your memory quilt. Please only send “CLEAN” clothing that is fully intact. I will cut it up into the sizes I need and send the remaining back to you with your completed quilt, unless you wish to donate it to be used for stuffing of animal beds that a friend of mine makes for the shelters.
Payment Information:
Kootenay Custom Quilting accepts e-Transfer, Paypal (which includes Visa, MasterCard, & American Express credit cards), and cash. Please make sure dollar amounts are in Canadian Funds. Here is a Currency Converter to help you calculate the cost if you are not from Canada. For those who choose to pay by Paypal, a surcharge of 4% will be added to your bill to cover fees.
